Sweet Tangerine Tango Auto is an indica-dominant strain with a short and stocky structure. Good yields are obtained in what is a a longer than average flowering time. It was bred from OG Kush, Girl Scout Cookies (GSC) and Face-Off OG with some ruderalis genetics added.
This strain can be grown indoors and also outdoors where the very best results come from plants grown in a Mediterranean climate type. Indoors, plants are short at 80 – 100 cm. and have good lateral branch growth. Flowering begins during the 3rd. or 4th. week and takes a further 55 – 70 days to finish with yields between 400 – 450 gr/m2. Plants smell strongly in flower so using good carbon filters is strongly recommended.
Outdoors, plants will grow a little taller at 100 – 120 cm. or so producing yields of 200 – 250 gr/plant or slightly more. Plants grown outdoors may need some extra support for the branches that become heavy with flowering clusters. Towards maturity buds show a range of green and purple colours and are coated with frosty, white trichomes.
Dominant scents and tastes are pungent and earthy but with citrus / orange and floral notes. The effect is at first cerebral and uplifting but this becomes more typically indica, relaxing and meditative in true indica style.
