Eboshi CBG is an 80% indica, feminised strain that was bred from a selection of high-CBG plants growing in the Swiss and Italian alpine regions. After crossing and selecting offspring Eboshi CBG emerged as a stabilised strain that could produce up to 15% CBG while reining in THC to less than 0.2% and CBD between 0.1 – 0.5%. High resistance to moulds makes it a good choice for humid climates.
Eboshi CBG grows with a typical indica structure, multi-branched and with a short inter-nodal length that results in large, dense buds. Indoor growers are recommended to veg. this vigorously-growing strain for 2 – 3 weeks before flowering is started, this subsequently lasting for 8 weeks until yields of 450 gr/m2 can be obtained.
Outdoor-grown plants will reach a height of 130 – 220 cm. producing yields of 400 gr/plant. Harvests in the northern hemisphere will be ready in late September while those in the southern hemisphere are due in late March. Good resin production makes this a good choice from which to prepare CBG extracts.
Both the flavour and scent have citrus with notes of damp earth. CBG levels are within the range 8 – 15% with less than 0.2% THC and between 0.1 – 0.5% CBD.
