Top 44 is a fast-flowering cross of Skunk #1 with an Afghani strain called Viking. It is an easy-to-grow, short plant that displays great resistance to a range of adverse factors outdoors. Its ability to flower in the shortest of summers make this a great strain for outdoor cultivation at higher latitudes.
Top 44 grows well indoors in a Sea of Green set-up but is also perfectly amenable to topping and LST (low stress training) whereby branches are tied down resulting in more vertical-growing buds on each tied branch. In flowering plants will double in height producing heavy yielding side-branches and one main cola. Short inter-nodal branching and dense golf ball sized buds make buds easy to trim. Yields of 500 g/m², can be achieved in 7 – 8 weeks flowering and she will test at 15%-20% THC. Her aroma when blooming will be a pungent, earthy, Skunk-y dank that can linger in the air and quickly fill a room out with dense, cloudy smoke.
Flavours are a deep, earthy, floral Skunk. Its 15 – 20% THC and low CBD provides a well-balanced, clear effect which takes on more indica qualities with continued consumption.
Therapeutically recommended for treating insomnia and lack of appetite amongst others.
