Frequently Asked Common Kuestions

How to tell if I have great quality marijuana seeds?

If you are buying from us or someone else, try as much as possible to familiarize yourself with what and how a good and healthy cannabis seed looks like. Healthy and fully-developed marijuana seeds are dark brown in complexion, stripped with lighter patterned shades or stripes (A.k.a tiger stripes). Avoid pale green or white seeds as these are most probably seeds that aren’t mature or healthy and probably will not germinate, nor produce a healthy marijuana plant.

You can also test if seeds are healthy and mature by trying to pinch or roll them between your fingers. If they crush super easy, they are no good. This will normally be the case with white coloured seeds.

Growing and germinating cannabis seeds

Please note that we are unable to offer any growing or germinating advice as we sell cannabis seeds as souvenirs. There are plenty of online resources and forums that have covered just about any questions you might have regarding growing and germinating cannabis seeds – Just do a quick Google 🙂

How many seeds come in a pack?

If the seed strain has the “select option” dropdown, each option will specify how many seeds are in the pack. If there is no “select option”, the number of seeds will be specified next to the strain name in the title of the page.

When we purchase seeds from our suppliers, sometimes breeders run promotions and you might get some extra seeds in a pack. Sometimes it will specify this on the pack or it might not. If it does not, don’t be alarmed as we never open the breeder packaging hence you are receiving the number of seeds as the breeder intended.

Do seeds come in original breeder packaging?

Yes, we do not open breeder packaging.

What are feminized cannabis seeds?

Feminized cannabis seeds will produce female plants only and because of this, you can expect feminized cannabis seeds to be 99.99% female. Only the female plants produce buds that can be smoked.

There are numerous advantages for growers who start their garden using feminized seeds. By removing the guesswork of germinating regular seeds, feminized seeds streamline the growing process, saving space and time.

Will all plants grown from feminized cannabis seeds be female?

Yes, all plants grown from the feminized strains sold on this website will be genetically female. It’s very rare to get hermaphrodites these days which are caused by stress, mainly overheating.

What are auto-flowering cannabis seeds?

Relatively new in the seed technology industry, auto-flowering cannabis plants are fast-growing – expect buds in less than 10 weeks if grown under lights. Suitable for indoor, greenhouse, and outdoor growing, plants can be harvested a few times per year. With auto-flowering plants there is no need for a change in light cycles or removal of male plants. Ideal for gardeners with limited time and space. Autoflowering plants grow best when exposed to light for 18 hours.

We have categories our seeds into popular strain types to help to make choosing a great strain easy.

Indicas are compact and stocky, with dense, heavy, fragrant buds. Indica plants tend to flower faster and are a darker shade of green than their sativa counterpart. The Indica effect is noted mostly for being physical and relaxing, often inducing couch-lock.

Sativa plants tend to be uplifting and cerebral, enhancing creativity and productivity. Sativa plants tend to have longer, thinner leaves that are light green, they tend to grow taller and take longer to flower than their Indica counterpart.

Hybrids have been bred from two different strains in order to create a strain that has the benefits of both of its parents. Hybrids can be either Indica or Sativa dominant in their genetic makeup and effects. Most strains these days are hybrids. What are the differences between indoor/greenhouse and outdoor strains? Cannabis strains, as well as being categorized by their Indica and Sativa content, can also be classed as indoor, greenhouse/indoor and outdoor cannabis strains:

Indoor cannabis strains
Growing cannabis indoors allows the grower to maintain a controlled environment that has been optimized for cannabis plant growth. When growing cannabis indoors, growers can focus their attention on a smaller number of plants, monitoring growth patterns, nutrient needs, and so on with ease. Cannabis that has been grown indoors tends to create dense flowers covered in crystals as they not exposed to the outdoor elements.

Greenhouse cannabis strains
Greenhouse grows utilize sunlight whenever possible while keeping the plants enclosed and protected from the elements at all times. Provided the greenhouse grow is well maintained with ample airflow the quality of the flower can be comparable to that of plants grown indoors.

Outdoor cannabis strains
Cannabis plants grown outdoors will stretch as they grow, because of the abundant light and ample space which often results in looser flowers. Outdoor plants may not look as pretty as plants grown indoors, but the effects, scent, and flavor should still be there.
